The Belgian Cancer Registry (BCR) collects information regarding new cancer diagnoses in Belgium, relying on notifications from both oncological care programs and laboratories for pathological anatomy. Population-based data cover the Flemish level from 2001 onwards, and the Belgian level from 2004 onwards, both with an estimated >98% completeness. In the context of supporting and evaluating the organized cancer screening programs, BCR also collects anatomopathological test results as part of early cancer detection. Besides the regular reporting of epidemiological parameters such as cancer incidence, prevalence and survival, BCR is actively involved in research projects regarding quality of care and many others.

Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE) is the representative voice of digestive cancer patients in the WHO Europe Region.
Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE) is the representative voice of digestive cancer patients in the WHO Europe Region. Our work is to improve the entire patient pathway for all digestive cancers, with a strong emphasis on primary and secondary prevention (screening), the application of best practices in screening and treatment. The organisation has a membership of 30 groups across Europe and is growing. DiCE conducts patient surveys, awareness campaigns, closely works with patients, carers, healthcare professionals, industry, media, health authorities, politicians and other relevant stakeholders to raise the awareness on digestive cancers, early diagnosis and prevention as well as to improve the quality of life of those living with digestive cancers.

Europa Donna, The European Breast Cancer Coalition, is European cancer patients’ association based in Milano. Europa Donna Slovenija has been its member since 1997. In Europa Donna Slovenija we follow the 10 goals of the European coalition. We connect the healthy population, breast cancer patients, gynaecological cancers patients, individuals and expert institutions. Our mission is to provide equal opportunities for all patients with breast cancer and gynaecological cancers to get holistic treatment, early disease detection, immediate and effective treatment and holistic rehabilitation.Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. In Slovenia, more than 1500 women and 10-15 men are newly diagnosed with breast cancer yearly. More than 700 women are diagnosed with gynaecological cancers (ovarian, uterine and cervical …).
Our programmes provide support for patients and their relatives/friends and for children, we raise public awareness about healthy living and prevention, cooperation with decision-makers and health policymakers and experts in the field of breast cancer and gynaecological cancers.

Family Medicine Academy is an academic non-governmental organization and was established in 2003. The aim of the Family Medicine Academy is; “The discipline of Family Medicine; is to develop and reach the place it deserves in the field of education, research and service on a scientific basis, with an independent, democratic, transparent and participatory approach.The Academy mainly operates in the fields of education, research and quality in the field of Family Medicine. The members of the academy consist of academicians of family medicine, family medicine specialists, primary care physicians, family medicine specialty students and representatives of other fields that carry out studies related to primary care. Among the members of the academy, there are also representatives from the Family Medicine departments of universities and training and research hospitals in Turkey.
In line with its founding purpose, the Academy organizes workshops, courses, conferences and panels. Family Medicine Research Days, the regular congress of the academy, are held twice a year and have been held regularly since 2011. Although it is being held as a national congress, it has hosted many international speakers. Family Medicine Research Days has become a special brand in the field of Family Medicine with its special format.
The Academy is still involved in national and international projects. Many academic studies are carried out to increase the international recognition of the academy.
