The web application for CTC counting of PERSIST was presented at MedInfo 2021
MedInfo is a worldwide congress gathering the world’s Medical Informatics community, which took place online this year between October 2nd and 4th. The congress accepted papers and posters presenting the most recent research in the field in a wide range of areas such as information and knowledge management, quality, safety and outcomes, health data science, human, organizational and social aspects and global health informatics.
Project PERSIST participated in the forum with a poster on the web application for CTC counting, which was accepted under the “Information Standard Theme”. The project coordinator Victoria Cal presented how PERSIST aims to improve accurate prognosis, personalized treatment and earlier diagnosis of metastasis of cancer by designing and developing of an interoperable medical web application for automatic counting of circulating tumor cells.
